I have an old iMac that I’ve been trying to install LINUX on for about a year and a half. I have tried to boot it about 500 times. I was literally going to take a sledgehammer to the machine and send it to the scrap heap, and I turned it on one more time, forgetting that I left the jump drive in. It booted up to Debian. Amazing, and I’m weirdly proud that I saved this machine from the dump.
